New Employee - Welcome

Sheila Corson

Public Information Officer

Please join me in welcoming Sheila as the new Public Information Officer.

Sheila comes to us from Okanogan County PUD, prior to that, she worked at her hometown school district and the local newspaper. In addition, she teaches classes a couple times a year at Wenatchee Valley College.

Sheila received her Bachelor’s in Journalism at Multnomah University and her Master’s in Communication at Purdue University. She is excited to immerse herself in a new community, connect with people, and explore unfamiliar places.

In her free time Sheila says that the performing arts and music are her jam. Her family just completed a performance in a community musical last month, and she has played bass in a church band with her husband for nearly 20 years.

Shelia and her family are moving across Washington State, so they are coming from the sunny dry side and she is looking forward to spending a lot of time in the saltwater and enjoying what the peninsula has to offer!
