Working on Wellness: The 10-Minute Summer Reset

With summer just around the corner, longer days and increased sunlight can boost our mood, energy, and motivation. However, the seasonal shift can also affect our routines, especially when it comes to sleep. Later sunsets often mean staying up a little longer, which can make it harder to get the rest our bodies need.

Taking just 10 minutes each day to pause and recharge can improve focus, reduce stress, boost productivity, enhance decision-making, and support emotional well-being throughout the workday.

Try one of these quick resets

  • Step outside for fresh air and natural sunlight

  • Refill your water bottle and stay hydrated

  • Stretch or take a movement break between tasks

  •  Rest your eyes by stepping away from screens

  • Listen to a favorite song or calming playlist

  • Read a few pages of a book or article you enjoy

  • Use 10 minutes to establish a relaxing bedtime routine

  • Connect with a coworker, friend, or family member

How many days this month can you fit in a 10-minute reset?
