Working on Wellness: Mental Health Awareness Month Week 3
Week 3: Connection & Community
Mental health isn’t something we’re meant to navigate alone. Connection and community play an important role in how we grow, stay grounded, and support our overall well-being. The right support whether from friends, family, coworkers, or professionals can make a meaningful difference.
Finding the right path also means taking supportive action. That might look like reaching out to someone you trust, joining a group or activity, or seeking professional support when needed. Asking for help isn’t a weakness it’s an important step in taking care of yourself.
This week, consider ways to build connections and strengthen your support system:
• Reach out to someone you trust and check in
• Spend time with people who help you feel supported
• Explore a group, activity, or community that interests you
• Consider professional support if you need it (therapy, counseling, etc.)
• Set boundaries that protect your time and energy
• Practice active listening in your conversations
• Notice how different connections impact how you feel
When we build strong connections and support one another, we create healthier communities both at work and beyond.
