E-mail Inbox Count - Training/Assistance Available

100 MESSAGE STANDARD: PUD 3 emphasizes employee management of “Inbox” and “Sent Item” content in the employee’s Outlook (E-mail system). The standard is that no employee hold more than 100 messages in the “Inbox” and no more than 100 messages in the “Sent Item” location. There are a number of reasons for this:

  • Ensure we retain, manage, search/find and dispose of e-mail records as required by state law

  • Enable employees to efficiently use and reference e-mail content

  • Facilitate smooth transitions when employees retire or leave employment
