Emergency Oxygen Kits Available at MCFD #4

PUD 3 is partnering with Mason County Fire District #4 to assist all Mason County citizens who may have a need for emergency short-term oxygen support during a power outage.

PUD 3 strives to restore power outages as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes events occur that prolong disruption in electric service. For some customers, that’s an inconvenience. For others, there are serious health implications associated with a lack of power. Having a generator back-up is not feasible for all customers.

Customers who have a medical-need for oxygen support may contact Mason County Fire District #4 to receive a FREE Emergency Oxygen Kit. (360) 426-7222

An Emergency Oxygen Kit includes a tested and approved O2 tank, regulator, nasal cannula, and a case. This tank should provide low-level delivery for up to four hours. The fire fighters will coordinate pick-up times or drop-offs and a quick tutorial on how to use the equipment.

Mason County Fire District #4 serves Arcadia and Kamilche. Chief Bob Burbridge has made this offer available to ALL Mason County citizens, not just those in his fire district.
