. We are excited to announce some new positions which were approved by the commission on Tuesday after reviewing a thorough analysis of current and increasing workloads in the Telecom department. As we complete construction on more and more Fiberhoods, customer requests for connects are booming. The added administrative and compliance requirements of the state and federal grants further burden the District. To reduce the wait for customers to be connected to this essential service and continue our strategic focus on excellent customer service, the commission approved adding the following positions:

• Three (3) Telecommunications Engineering Designers

• One (1) Cost/Grant Accountant

• One (1) Telecom Services Assistant

One of these positions has already been filled by Cathy Wiktorek who accepted the newly created position of Telecom Services Assistant.

Lori Crossan will be replacing Cathy in the existing position of Engineering Services Assistant.
