Fill the Truck #4 - 2020 Fire Relief Donation Drive

Bri Sheetz and Dawn Myers spearheaded another successful Fill the Truck event in September to help victims of the fires in Bridgeport , WA.

On Sunday, September 13, volunteers arrived at Walmart at 9:00 a.m. hoping to fill at least 3 trucks with non-perishable items to take to Bridgeport to distribute. By 10:15 they had already reached their goal. They had to find 5 more trucks and drivers to haul all the donations! 7 trucks, and 1 enclosed trailer in all!

Donations were taken to the Four Square Church in Bridgeport, WA. 24 volunteers made the 550+ mile round trip to Bridgeport to drop off the donated items. In addition to the donated items, Dawn was able to give the pastor of the church over $1100 in donated cash and gift cards for the families who lost their homes.
