Save the Date: PUDEA & HCSEG Volunteer Event - August 7

Join us on Friday, August 7th, as the PUDEA partners with the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group (HCSEG) to support their ongoing maintenance of local estuary trails.

During the event, volunteers will help with basic trail maintenance and estuary cleanup, including tasks like removing litter and debris, and helping keep vegetation from encroaching on trail areas. These efforts help keep the Union River estuary trails safe, accessible, and enjoyable for the community while supporting the health of the surrounding habitat.

This event is for PUD employees, where friends and family are also invited to join. Participants may come and volunteer at any time during the 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM window based on their availability.

This will be a great chance to get outside, support a local organization doing important environmental work, and earn volunteer hours while giving back to our community. We hope to see you there!
