It's Back - Bring Your Kid to Work Day - April 17

We’re excited to invite you and your children to Bring Your Kid to Work Day on April 17th! This event is a great opportunity to share a day at the office with your kids and let them explore the exciting work we do.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • This event is for kids 8-18. Please consider your child’s individual needs and interests when deciding if this event is a good fit for them.

  • Check with your supervisor before signing up to ensure it works for your schedule.

  • Print, review, and sign the RSVP/Waiver to secure a spot.

  • Turn your waiver in to Asia Cline. This will serve as your RSVP for the event.

  • Please RSVP by Tuesday, March 18.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: (subject to change based on age and number of kids attending):

  • 8:00 - 8:30 AM: Morning Kickoff/Welcome/Introduction

    • Overview of the day, introducing the theme of Safety.

  • 8:30 - 9:30 AM: Pole Top/Bucket Rescue Demonstration & "Touch a Truck"

    • Get an up-close look at equipment used in the field!

  • 9:30 - 10:00 AM: Arc Trailer Demonstration

  • 10:00 - 11:00 AM (Snack Break): Dr. Jill on Ergonomics & Nutrition

    • Learn about phone usage safety and the truth about energy drinks.

  • 11:00 - 12:00 PM: Game/Scavenger Hunt

    • A fun, hands-on activity incorporating elements from different departments!

  • 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

  • Post-Lunch: Kids will spend the rest of the day with their parents for as long as the parent/supervisor chooses.

  • 2:00 PM: Kids Podcast

    • A fun wrap-up to the day, where kids can share their experiences.
