Position Opening - Operations Department

We are looking to fill the position in the operations department created by Nick Earsley’s upcoming retirement. We will be accepting internal and external letters of interest through Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

The successful candidate must have the following basic qualifications:

  • Knowledge gained through having performed linework or engineered jobs:

    • Concepts of electrical transmission and distribution

    • All components used in the electrical and fiber installations

  • Knowledge of personnel, materials, and equipment required to carry out the tasks for Shelton line crews, service crews, and tree trimming crews.

  • Ability to coordinate a variety of responsibilities and activities and to manage confidential information. Coordinate jobs, personnel, and scheduling proficiently.

  • Good organization, administrative (including documentation ability) and computer skills will be necessary.

  • Knowledge of state and federal safety laws.

  • Knowledge of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (DBA) and labor laws preferred.
