PUD 3 Brings Home Six Communications Awards

Our communications department brought home six awards from the NWPPA Northwest Innovations in Communications conference for various projects over the past year. The Excellence in Communications banquet was held Sept. 24 during the conference in Whitefish, Montana.

 The team won first place plaques for Social Media for the PUD 3 Facebook page, and Internal Communications for the “Over the Line with Asia Cline” podcast.

 Second place awards were given for Annual Report and in the Special Publication category for the Belfair UGA project handout (shared in a previous intranet post). Third place awards were given for the Newsletter and for Advertising Campaign for efforts surrounding downed line safety.

 The 10 entries submitted from Mason PUD 3 joined with a total of 283 entries from across the region, organized by utility size. Out of a possible 50 points, our entries earned an average of 43.9 points each.
