PUD3 Website Redesign Coming Soon!

After a few months of behind-the-scenes work, we will soon roll out a new website redesign for PUD3’s main website. We should launch the site the week of April 22 (exact date TBD), but I wanted to make sure you had some basics ahead of time.

  • The design and look of the website will change, but not the web address - it will still be at pud3.org. We are working on fixing any shortened URLs (such as pud3.org/trees) to make sure those will work properly, too. Since some things have been re-organized, you will need to check any pages you have bookmarked after the new site is live.

  • Some pages have moved, some will be pretty much in the same place as before. We took a detailed report of what pages are viewed most frequently to decide which pages needed to be better highlighted or made easier to find. I tried to avoid making this as annoying as when a grocery store moves their stuff around (I hate that!), but it was all informed by actual site use and input from several managers.

  • The new site is built with accessibility in mind, so there will be great new features for those who have visual challenges, speak other languages, have shaky hands, etc. It will also adjust much better to ANY screen size (smartphone, tablet, desktop, etc.).

I’ll let you all know when we solidify the go-live date. If you have other questions or concerns, you can reach out to me. The draft is not yet ready for a sneak peek by a wider audience, but I am sharing a snapshot of our custom illustrated footer just for fun below.
