Retirement Announcement & Department Restructuring

Join us in extending heartfelt congratulations to Katie Swenson as she announces her retirement, effective January 31, 2025, after an impressive 30-year tenure at Mason PUD 3!

With each vacancy within the district, we take the opportunity to review and address evolving needs of the district. Consequently, we will be restructuring the Energy Services department which includes Conservation and Customer Engineering. As we approach Katie’s retirement date, an Engineering Services Coordinator position will become available. Upon Katie’s retirement, the Customer Engineering support staff will report directly to Koral Miller.

We're delighted to announce that Salem Schankel has accepted a position as Conservation Supervisor effective immediately and will oversee the Conservation staff.  We will not be backfilling Salem’s position of Senior Energy Efficiency Advisor.
