Employee Safety Day Fair is Next Week!

Join us for a variety of safety trainings, swing by and check out our awesome vendors, and don’t forget to grab a salad or sandwich boxed lunch from Panera!

Safety Day Passports and “Power in Preparedness” shirts will be distributed on Monday 6/15.

Employees will be able to dress casual for the event!

The schedule is linked here.

At the end of the day, employees will turn in their Safety Day Passport at the check in table in the Skookum Room or to Ali Burgess. Think of this as a “punch card,” where employees will receive a hole punch for each training session they participate in, including the vendor fair. All returned passports with at least one punch will also be entered in a prize drawing for the employee’s choice of a bronze, silver, or gold item from the Safety Incentive Program. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, June 23. Winners will be notified.

Employees who receive 4 or more punches will earn the full 500 points for the Safety Incentive Program. Less than 4 will still receive prorated points, at 125 points per participation punch. If employees are unable to attend 4 sessions to earn the full 500 points there are alternative ways to earn points for the year end incentives (including bonus OSHA lessons in NeoGov, submitting safety suggestions, and conducting safety presentations at department safety meetings).

Employees will not receive any points if they do not turn in their Safey Day Passport.

You will notice some of the trainings have a slight overlap and there are two virtual sessions that will be held on Teams. This is an a la carte style training day. Please coordinate your participation with your supervisor.

See specific course notes below:
