SmartHub gets a New Look
NISC is giving SmartHub a fresh new look beginning October 28. Download or update it from your phone’s App Store. The web version will also be refreshed.
We have customer communications via Facebook scheduled for 10/29 and 11/18. NISC hasn’t shared a preview other than to say the following:
This is one of the images we’ll be using to promote the update on Facebook. The other focuses on “Smart Usage”. Each have a message centered around the approaching holidays.
“SmartHub’s new look features a revamped home screen that presents the most important information - like bill amount, utility usage, and possible outages or issues - at a glance. The revamped home screen also features new navigation that is consistent with native apps.”
We’ve done a lot to customize and improve our customer’s experience on the app version of SmartHub so we’ll need to keep a close eye on how those features change with the new updates.
I recommend downloading/updating your personal SmartHub app ASAP on October 28 so that you can get a feel for the changes and are able to answer customer questions as they come in. That’s what I’ll be doing. If there are significant changes that break some of our customization, we’ll be working with NISC to get things back on track as soon as possible.
