Volunteer Opportunities with Mason Health
Looking for a way to give back to the community?
Mason Health offers a variety of volunteer opportunities through its Volunteer Program. These roles are ideal for individuals who are interested in making a meaningful impact while supporting local healthcare services. Volunteer hours qualify for the employee incentive merit pay program.
Available opportunities include:
Clinic Concierge Volunteers welcome patients and their loved ones, help direct and walk them to the appropriate check-in and wait areas, and support the registration staff members with answering basic questions for patients.
Emergency Department Concierge Volunteers (18+) have the same duties as the Clinic Volunteers, with the additional duties of restocking the patient rooms with supplies and checking supply expiration dates.
Chaplain Volunteers (18+) provide comfort and empathy for patients and their loved ones during their time at Mason Health through providing a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, and a safe space for grief and guidance.
Auxiliary Gift Shop Volunteers (18+) run the daily operations of the gift shop located in the main hallway of the hospital. They sell items, use the register, and help with stocking and displaying items for purchase.
Office Volunteers assist the Development Office with special projects for marketing, volunteer service support, and the non-profit Mason Health Foundation’s events. There are opportunities to stick with one specialization, assist with easier office tasks, or learn new software and record keeping skills.
