All of our volunteers will be dressed like Paul Bunyan.
A John Deere buggy will follow, carrying Sparkles the Squirrel and equipped as a pooper scooper.
Questions: If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Reminders: Below are a few important reminders from the parade organizers:
No throwing candy or other items from floats or vehicles. Please have walkers hand candy directly to spectators (this helps keep kids safe).
No Bull horns or loud speakers to yell at the crowd.
By participating in the parade, you are agreeing to have your photo taken and used.
Be safe and Be Kind!
We are looking for employees interested in volunteering in the Forest Festival Grand Parade Saturday, June 1.
This year’s theme is Remembering Bunyan & Babe! In an effort to stick with the theme - All volunteers must wear red & black flannels, like Paul Bunyan, and any other lumberjack attire you can come up with. Volunteers will walk and hand out candy or ride on the truck (room permitting). More information to come.
Volunteer hours will be eligible for the 2023-2024 Employee Incentive/Merit Pay Program.
