Retirement Announcement - Congratulations Diane!

Please join us in extending our heartfelt congratulations to Diane Hennessy as she embarks on her well-deserved retirement after an excellent 21-year tenure with PUD 3!

Diane began her career with PUD 3 in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative, working in both the Shelton and Belfair offices. In 2006, she was promoted to Service Engineering Assistant, and by 2008, she returned to her passion for customer service as the Belfair Office Supervisor. Her journey continued as she advanced to Power Supply Analyst in 2009, only returning once again to customer service in 2011, where she took the role of Customer Service Manager. It is in this role that she will conclude her remarkable career.

Throughout her tenure, Diane’s expertise and dedication have positively impacted numerous departments and projects.  Particularly notable are the AMI implementation, leading her team through the NISC conversion, the introduction of pre-pay, implementing the grants we’ve received to assist with customer bills, and countless employees hired and trained in her department over the last 12 years!

Diane will be deeply missed by everyone at PUD 3. Her exceptional leadership, dedication, and grace have left an indelible mark on our organization. Diane's thoughtful and kind approach, along with her ability to see the good in all people, has fostered a positive and supportive work environment. Her contributions over the past 21 years have significantly advanced our mission. As Diane embarks on her well-deserved retirement, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her service and wish her all the best in this new chapter.

Diane’s last day is June 27th. Please feel free to stop by the customer service department tomorrow to wish Diane well.  A cake celebration will occur at 1:00 pm in the customer service department area.
