SHELTON — The Shelton Public Works Department is expected to begin work on the 2019 Chip Seal project on Monday in three locations. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by July 31st, weather dependent.

  • Location 1: Wallace Kneeland Boulevard between Olympic Highway North and Shelton Springs Road.

  • Location 2: Shelton Springs Road between North 13th Street and Shelton city limits near Tarragon Avenue.

  • Location 3: North 13th Street/B Street between Olympic Highway North and K Street.

There will be single-lane closures throughout the work areas. Flaggers and a pilot car will be directing traffic through the work areas throughout the project. City officials warn drivers to expect delays.
