Team Returning from Douglas County - Thanks for Representing PUD 3!
The Last Pole - (see more pictures below).
Our team is returning from their mutual aid assignment at Douglas County and sent us this last picture simply titled “Last Pole” before they began their journey home. The crew, which left JPOC last Sunday, helped restore power to approximately 2,400 customers in the Douglas PUD service territory after the Pearl Hill Fire torched over 223,730 acres and destroyed over 300 power poles. They were joined by over 120 linemen from other utilities throughout Washington state to help our fellow PUD in need.
We all know what a sacrifice this was and the team really represented Mason PUD 3 with commitment, skill, and perseverance.
Chris Miller said, “I'm sure proud of our employees and how they represented Mason 3's core values, etc.” Annette followed up with, “I was looking at those pictures and thought, ‘Wow this is going to be a lot of work!’ We all echo your sentiments on the feeling of being proud of our crew over there. Once again, Mason 3 was represented well. We have the best team.“ Michelle B. added, “Agreed, we are all proud of our guys. Will have to give them the necessary recognition for their work efforts and representation of PUD 3!”
Well done John, Seth, Blake, Matt, Ronny and Brian!
